About Eduard Otto Roos

I am a R&D Specialist at Clinomics, a biotechnology company that develops novel therapeutics and diagnostic tools to improve veterinary health. With my expertise in molecular biology, cell culture, and laboratory research, I design and execute experiments, analyze data, and report findings to support the development of new products and solutions. My passion for the natural world and its diversity led me to pursue a PhD in Molecular Biology from Stellenbosch University, where I focused on identifying different molecular diagnostic methods for detecting Mycobacterium bovis infection in warthogs. This research was part of a larger project on bovine TB which is major threats to wildlife and livestock. I have published and presented my research on these topics at various international conferences and journals as well as radio interviews, demonstrating my ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences. I enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, where I can learn from and share my knowledge with others. I am always curious and eager to explore new challenges and opportunities in the field of molecular biology and veterinary health. I aim to contribute to the advancement of science and the protection of wildlife, by applying my skills and experience to create innovative and impactful solutions.
