About Eduard Post
Since 2019 I'm working at the University of Groningen as a practical course teacher for the Bachelor program of pharmacy. I'm involved in the 1st year course Pharmaceutical analysis, in this course we let the student obtain knowledge about the basics of the analysis of pharmaceuticals, using several forma of titrations and UV spectrometry. In the 2nd year of the bachelor program of Pharmacy, I'm involved in Instrumental Analysis. This is a follow up from the Pharmaceutical Analysis course. The students obtain knowledge about Chromatography (HPLC), Spectrometry (UV and Fluorescent) and Electrochemistry. Metabolism & Toxicology and Pharmacokinetics are two other courses in which I teach the practical part. Metabolism & Toxicology makes us of the slice technique, we use live rat liver slices to determine the toxicity of several compounds (paracetamol and LPS). Pharmacokinetcs lab course consists of several experiments to determine the kinetics of several different compounds and using several different methods.
