MBA and Industrial Engineer with strong background in finance having regional responsibilities in multinational companies in banking, pharmaceutical, medical devices, consumer goods and graphic arts industries. With expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and controlling, I have worked with and led cross-functional teams in many countries including the US, EU, LATAM, and India. During my career I’ve increased efficiencies, lowered costs and generated savings, preserving the effectiveness of the finance functions along the value chain on the operation. My achievements throughout my years of experience in various finance roles in several industries include-Led the Financial Planning & Profitability, Financial Control, Financial Dataminig and Incentives teams of Banco Falabella in Colombia- Recognized for reducing the working capital of a pharmaceutical company by more than USD 6.5M in less than 6 months - Improved control of expenses for management team through design and implementation of dashboards - Increased forecasting accuracy through the creation of excel templates, through communication with key stakeholders, and through the standardization of forecasting procedures – a procedure still in use today in the company for marketing, supply chain, and finance- Managed multi-cultural, multi-functional teams; mentored different roles under my supervision In addition I have proficiency in excel, highly skilled in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and overall data analysis.
