About Eduardo Guzman

I build cloud infrastructure and full-stack applications that need to work reliably for millions of people. I focus on automating deployment complexity so developers can ship code without worrying about the infrastructure underneath. At Covered California, I transformed manual infrastructure setup into automated workflows. Developers push code and everything deploys itself - networks, security, monitoring. I work across the full stack, from backend APIs and cloud architecture to frontend interfaces, which helps me build systems that make sense from both perspectives. I meet weekly with Microsoft Solutions Architects to figure out the right way to architect things in Azure. Currently working toward the Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. Outside of work, I run a Proxmox homelab where I test infrastructure ideas and keep my data private. I mess around with Arduino and Raspberry Pi when I want to build something physical. I hike when I need to think. I play music when I don't want to think. I study philosophy because understanding how people think about problems matters more than the technical problems themselves - everything in life connects, and we're all philosophers in our own way.
