About Eduardo Marquez
I graduated from CSU Channel Islands with a B.S. in Biology, and a minor in Political Science. I developed a passion for helping disadvantaged communities while working with low-income first-generation students at my university through the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). In my work with California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA), I supported rural communities with information and resources for education, labor, and housing rights. Additionally, I am a fellow of the Legal Education Access Pipeline (LEAP), I advocate for environmental, LGBTQ, disability, and educational issues, and I hope to one day become the first person in my family to become an attorney and continue to support and serve marginalized groups. I currently work at Inner City Law Center on the Tenant Defense Project as an Admin Clerk, where we assist clients facing evictions.
