About Eduardo Moradas

I am a senior executive with CEO / General Management experience. I have broad strategy, financial, commercial, marketing and operations experience across the financial services sector (banking and insurance) and diverse markets. I had a leading role in the merge / integration of acquired operations both in banking and in insurance. I have worked 27 years in financial services, 18 in banking (now at Bison Bank, and before at CGD and Novo Banco Group, formerly BES Group) and 9 in insurance (at Tranquilidade). Previously I have worked 8 years in management consulting (Mckinsey & Co and Roland Berger & Partners), serving clients in financial services, distribution, food industry, tourism and textile industry. I am a multi-lingual, multi-cultural manager, having lived and worked in different countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Brazil or Libya. I have a relevant and intensive experience in the global management of banking subsidiaries and branches in several countries, in Europe, Africa, Asia and Americas, including the contact and management of relationship with the regulators and supervisors. I have strong stakeholder management skills and I have demonstrated ability to effectively lead to deliver and execute strategic plans. I have an MBA at INSEAD (France) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (Portugal). I have been a guest speaker and lecturer at Católica Lisbon and other leading academic institutions. I have developed several pro bono activities, among which Member of the Strategic Council of IES, Board Member/Global Director of INSEAD Alumni Fund and President of the Board of INSEAD Alumni Association in Portugal.
