About Eduardo Suarez

Eduardo's experience in the field of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry as a licensed Mechanical Contractor and as a Mechanical Engineer for over 20 years. In the role of Mechanical Engineer, he advises Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors on the design, selection, specification, energy models and audit reports, and commissioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, building Plumbing design, and Fire Protection systems. He has authored building energy models and reporting using Carrier HAP as the modelling software, NECB 2017, ASHRAE 90.1, and OBC SB-10 as the compliance path. He has communicated, collaborated, and influenced decisions throughout the design and construction project life cycle within a multi-disciplinary Engineering, Architectural, and Contracting team. Eduardo Suarez holds various Canadian trade certifications including Gas Technician 1 with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic with the Ontario College of Trades, and the Ozone Depletion License with the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada. Eduardo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría, Cuba. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario. He has worked in the engineering and contracting field for various companies including ANO Architects, Genivar/WSP, J.L.Richards & Associates, The Canadian National Exhibition Place, Action Refrigeration & Electrical, and most recently, Barry H Martin Consulting Engineer and Architect.
