About Eduardo Torres
When being faced with a new challenge, I believe it is better to confront and learn than to fear failure. Through my high school career, I co-founded a FIRST Robotics team to which I was the Building Team Leader. We also were able to reach the World Championships two out of the four years. Through this, I was able to learn many applications of engineering while being limited to financial and physical size constraints. I am a Senior year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus with a 3.5 GPA. Through the years I have been part of multiple successful projects that range from small flywheel launching prototypes for class projects to small scale Vex robots and large scale Robotic arm and Onboard mars Rover Science Suites outside of class.
