Molecular biologist/biochemist with broad experience in:(1) upstream cell culture processes and engineering metabolism for production of different compounds;(2) expressing a large variety of recombinant proteins and viruses, in different platforms (mammalian, avian, E. coli, bacillus, pichia pastoris, Yarrowia lipolytica, etc) and (3) developing, optimizing, validating and executing biochemical and cellular assays to support a viral vaccine production and several drug discovery programs based on human and bacterial enzymes. I authored and co-authored several articles in peer reviewed journals and I am co-inventor on several patents that are paying royalties. Zbarsky Award Winner at The University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. I have worked doing biochemical and fermentation research in Canada, Japan,The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. I have double citizenship: Canadian and Argentinian.
