Professional experience: Most of my management experience comes from building and maintaining relationships with business clients and managing different projects. As part of an audit team, working with international clients, you quickly understand the value of a good business relationship. A good working relationship can help you achieve your goals quicker, resolve pending issues with less tension and prevent some headaches from ever becoming actual problems. Along with some of the more usual financial controller tasks, I became responsible for overseeing and keeping an account of capital investments in Riga International Airport from 2018 to 2023. Coordinating with various departments, obtaining the latest information on different projects and providing the board with monthly and quarterly updates was my main focus during those times. Starting from 2018 and until 2022, I was entrusted with representing Financial Department in the Riga International Airport procurement jury commission, which was a very important and teaching experience in my work life. Besides these tasks, I was also coordinating a consulting project, where a “Big 4” firm was helping Riga International Airport with risk management and expense reduction. Some of my recent success was managing the renewal of Airport's Financial model, Mid term strategy and subsequently securing a favorable review of this project by a "Big 4" firm, which was later used in working with various credit institutions. Finally, starting 2023 I assumed a new role - Financial Deal Manager. While my main responsibilities are attraction of financing and ensuring that the collaboration between Airport and various credit and other institutions is smooth and successful, I am also working closely with our Terminal Development unit to reach one of our goals - delivering a new, modern and sustainable passenger terminal which will further enhance and improve our passenger experience at Riga Airport.
