About Edvinas Bartkus

I studied at an art school, even took an art exam at High school, but became an engineer in a heat supply company. Sounds like Program error… I have got Bachelor and Master degrees in Vilnius Gediminas Technical university (Master of Thermal Engineering & Bachelor of Thermal Engineering). My first real job was to analyze the heat / water consumption in the buildings, I was an analyst. After this position, I became an junior engineer in the energy resources planning department. Later, in the same department, became the Intermediate engineer. I worked in a great team and my career went well, but there was a lack of new challenges and career opportunities. So I decided to change my job profile and left the office environment. I became an engineer in a biofuel boiler house. Now, I'm still a biofuel boiler engineer, and also a leader, of "24/7" group."24/7" is a new challenge. Our "24/7" team is always ready to fix minor faults, at any time of the day. Sometimes I still have a lot of work in the office, but now I can see everything from much closer. Sometimes I have to organize work, sometimes I look for solutions to a problem, I have a lot of new challenges in this work every day and I like that!
