Background

About Edward C. King

As the Deputy Director at Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin (CPFSJ), I apply my Master of Public Administration degree and over nine years of experience in government and non-profit administration to develop and implement organization-wide goals, objectives, and strategies that align with our mission and values. I oversee a county-wide workforce development program that serves low-income and disadvantaged individuals and families, and I manage internal and external relations with staff, partners, and clients. I am passionate about using research principles and methodology to evaluate and improve our programs and services, and to encourage, engage, and empower our community towards stability and health. I also have extensive experience in human resources administration, budget development and refinement, and training and supervision of personnel. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate with others who share my vision of creating positive social change.
