About Edward C. Marshall

Edward Marshall’s career has been honed on the coordination and development of complex projects. His experience spans government, non-profits, higher education and business, from which he brings keen insight and practical solutions to meet the needs of his clients. His portfolio includes defense and international trade as well as the development of energy projects including spent nuclear fuel for molten salt reactors; hybrid battery electric work vehicles; fuel cell projects; digester and landfill gas (LFG); ethanol and biofuels; and municipal solid waste (MSW). He also manages a $1M+ annual technical writing program for the GSA. He is the former Director of Special Projects at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he managed finance, development and construction of two major projects totaling $82 million, including the David E. Shi Center for Sustainability and The Woodlands at Furman, a retirement community (CCRC). Ed worked in the first Bush White House, was a political appointee in the U.S. Dept. of Labor, and was the Director of Tax and Fiscal Affairs at the Associated General Contractors of America. He was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student; received his B.A. from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee; and his Master of Arts (M.A.) from Furman University. His travels have taken him to Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. He is a regular speaker before industry groups, corporations, and government organizations.
