Current L&D specialist but also "ultimate generalist" due to extensive experience in multiple other industries and roles, including IT (computer forensics, e-discovery, data science, enterprise management software), finance (custodian banking), learning (training creation/facilitation/management), auditing, translation, and art.(I am particularly suited for unique roles that require a wide variety of skills and knowledge.) As sole investigator for several years, gained comprehensive knowledge of computer forensics and e-discovery. Tools included EnCase, FTK, Trident, Intella, Nuix, and Relativity, and Linux command line tools like libewf, dd, regripper, and the Sleuth Kit, to acquire, analyze, recover, process, host, image, OCR, stamp, and produce digital evidence for court use; virtualization (VMWare, VirtualBox) and scripting (Python, Perl); multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, Macintosh), hardware interfaces (from SCSI to ZIF), web design (HTML, CSS, XML), and programming (Javascript, Java, VBScript, C, C++, Perl, Python, proprietary languages, etc.). As sole learning lead for several years, long experience in facilitating/creating/producing training and learning, both in English and Japanese, physically and virtually, for subjects ranging from technical (enterprise management software, computer forensics, Excel, Outlook, etc.) to financial (securities, accounting) to soft skills (leadership/management, EQ, psychometrics (DISC, MBTI, etc.), coaching, presenting, etc.) and even wellness (mindfulness meditation, tai-chi, etc.). I also worked in data science previously, generally using SQL Server, R, Python, Tableau, and other tools. Supporting skills include multilingual ability (English, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean, etc.) with extensive translation/interpreter experience for Japanese to English and English to Japanese; artistic ability (traditional/digital art, animation, etc.); Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SharePoint, etc.) useful for creating sites or widgets at work; and more. In general, I am curious about almost everything, especially nature and culture. In general, I like to create and teach.
