I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate engineering student with a passion for all areas of engineering with a particular interest in automotive and problem-solving. I have had an interest in engineering since childhood, and I have completed several engineering-focused projects, including car restorations, car engine builds and an electric motorcycle conversion. I am a keen learner and like to challenge myself by undertaking projects that stretch, test and enhance my knowledge and skills. I have natural leadership skills which have been strengthened in my roles as captain of University of Birmingham’s engineering rugby team and head of vehicle dynamics for the University's formula student team (UBRacing). Following a nationwide competition to find the most promising young engineers, I have been awarded an Arkwright Scholarship.
