About Edward Dam

IT has been a hobby of mine ever since I was young, taking apart Commodores and Tandys. I started off professionally in IT building and repairing computers for a retail computer outlet. I quickly moved into the business support side of the company, going to customer sites to troubleshoot network and server issues. That experience launched me into my first full time network administrator position, where I found my passion for finding new technologies to benefit the operation of the company, whether that be financially or in productivity. This experience led me into IT Management, a role that allows me to use this passion to keep the department and the company current while keeping costs in line with budgets. Responsibilities for vendor management, employee management and budget control have allowed me to see projects researched, tested, implemented and supported within deadline, and within budget.
