About Edward E. Rodriguez

I was born in Texas and raised in Florida. I attended the Massachusetts Maritime Academy for undergraduate and continued graduate education at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. Currently, I am serving as an Environmental Science and Engineering Officer for the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, TX. My time in the Army has proven that I am a life long learner, dedicated to the advancement of any organization assigned, and passionate about the wellbeing of others. It has shown, that to be successful, you must take on challenges and situations that make you feel uncomfortable; they will provide the biggest reward. My interest lie in the field of public health, environmental health, and environmental engineering. Key skills that I have gained are program management, understanding legislative requirements, and communicating risk. In the future I hope to further my understanding of foreign policy and culture. Currently, I am learning Italian and Portuguese and am a native Spanish speaker.
