Background

About Edward Ferguson

10 years + experience working in the Sports Industry, 6 years full time, building on previous voluntary, and part time employment. Various roles have allowed me to develop critical business skills such as financial management, event management, strategic planning, business development and people-development skills. I have held the role of business manager in two organisations, founding new businesses to expand our organisations financial sustainability, whilst growing our product offerings to clients and members. Many of my roles align with the development of people, through the mentoring and coaching of others, with the vision to create sustainability of projects and initiatives by making myself redundant and ensure future continuity, progression and independent growth across all areas. I have a strong connection and focus to the 'person' at the end of the product or interaction which has empowered me to become very community and satisfaction driven, humanised by my various voluntary roles and initiatives to provide opportunities for all individuals in society.
