About Edward Fratto
As Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, I have over ten years of experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, which are promising building blocks for novel sensing devices and textile mounted electronics. My mission is to bridge the gap between benchtop materials science and industrial applications by developing scalable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly methods for producing high-quality nanomaterials with tunable properties. In addition to my research, I also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Unit Operations Lab, where I engaged students in hands-on learning of chemical engineering principles and practices. I assisted in the online transition of coursework and served as an adjust professor for Basic Principles of Chemical Engineering.
