About Edward Henderson
My research is focused on discovering new therapeutic options for patients diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. At the moment, I’m focused on a Tyrosine Kinase known as MERTK, which has proven to be an efficacious target in leukemia and Non-Small-Cell lung cancer. My work is centered around understanding the role of MERTK not only in cancer cells, but also in the surrounding tumor microenvironment. I am currently in the lab of Dr. Doug Graham at Emory University!
