About Edward Jones

With over eighteen years of experience as a Product Manager and Architect at IBM, I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions for transportation and infrastructure assets. I lead the vision and strategy for Maximo for Transportation, a product that helps customers manage their fleet assets while reducing environmental impact and operational costs. I also support the development and deployment of Maximo for Civil Infrastructure, a product that leverages IBM Maximo Visual Inspection to enable advanced asset inspections using AI vision models. I specialize in corridor-based asset management, combining ESRI spatial positioning and linear referencing models to provide a new level of location services for complex assets like bridges and tunnels. My approach is customer-centric, driven by empathy and design thinking. I work closely with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. I have a strong background in software project management, agile methodologies, and software development, which allows me to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
