About Edward Lapuma

With a broad background in economics and finance, Edward LaPuma currently serves as cofounder and managing partner of LCN Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on acquiring commercial real estate on behalf of its institutional investors/clients. Based in New York, Edward LaPuma utilizes his expertise to direct LCN Capital Partners’ sale-leaseback investments in the United States and abroad. Edward Vincent LaPuma graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a bachelor of arts in international economics and a bachelor of science in finance. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, skiing, sailing, and traveling. He also is an avid collector with a taste for antiquities and historic armor and arms. Prior to founding LCN Capital Partners, Edward LaPuma served in several capacities for W.P. Carey in New York. Beginning his career as assistant to the Chairman, Mr. LaPuma led the growth of the firm’s assets under management from approximately half a billion dollars to more than $10 billion during his tenure. Mr. LaPuma was the lead producer for W. P. Carey and He also played an integral role in sourcing, negotiating, and consummating many of the firm’s sale-leaseback investments. In Mr. LaPuma cofounded W.P. Carey International, an affiliated company that was responsible for all sale-leaseback transactions outside of the United States. He founded his current company in 2010.
