About Edward Narea

Over the past ten years, I have cultivated a personal community of social service providers across Louisiana, Illinois, North Carolina, and Michigan from my experiences as a clinical therapist. I have served my community using my MSW and MPH backgrounds to provide trauma-informed individual, family, and group counseling to English and Spanish-speaking clients. As a direct service provider, program manager, and clinical supervisor, I have worked in fields of domestic violence, substance abuse, community mental health, and medical clinics. Moving forward, I am excited to further cultivate my direct and supervisory skills as a clinical social worker. Scholarly and professional interests include mental health, civic engagement, service-learning, domestic and international experiential education; social justice; power and privilege; social & personality development; social policy; interpersonal communication, intercultural learning, leadership and Spanish.
