About Edward Pabon

Over a decade of experience in the field of Respiratory Therapy and 12 years of experience in Orthopedics, I am well versed in emergency situation and multi-tasking. My career in the health field started in Orthopedics in 2001 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. I am published in the New England Journal of medicine for proper splinting and casting techniques needed by medical staff and interns. I am well versed in reading X-rays as well at CT scans. Ultimately I found myself drawn back to the field of Respiratory Therapy, and in 2010 I applied to the program at a local community college and eventually transferred to Independence University. At Independence I received my Associates in Applied Science, my Bachelors in Respiratory Science and then ultimately my Master's in Public Health. I am part of the intubation team at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, where I also place Arterial Lines, Assist in Bronchoscopies, as well as interpretation of ABG's.
