Checking my bio out means one of two things…You’re trying to escape the endless pit of LinkedInfluencers telling you the secret to their success is waking up at 5am, going on a 58km run and reading 3 books before it's midday. Or.You're feeling nosey and want to get to know me a bit better. Luckily for you, this is your chance to do both of those things. Marketing for me, started when I was in sixth form. I was taking business studies and psychology at A-Level and thought marketing was a combination of the two. Essentially understanding how and why people behave in a certain way and learning to make money from it.As a 17-year-old, this was quite appealing.Fast forward a few years and I've now come to learn that marketing isn't just about making money from mind control. Rather, an opportunity to communicate the incredible things that SO many individuals and businesses are doing.A degree from The University of Essex later, I now find myself back in Norwich working with a team of truly wonderful people at Furthermore Marketing.I've had a few roles since joining, but now find myself as Head of Social.(A fancy term for making social media posts for businesses exactly like yours)My passion for social media goes beyond doomscrolling at 3am. I love analysing social media posts. What's worked? Why has it worked? What hook did they use on that video to keep me watching?(This actually gets quite annoying, I can never fully switch off)But it does mean I have a pretty good grasp of what does and doesn't work on social media.On a daily basis I put this analysis into practice for clients across the country.Outside of work, I live in Norwich and enjoying playing and watching almost every sport possible and have been a season ticket holder at NCFC since I was 5 years old.If you'd like to chat about social media (or the tactical systems Norwich's manager is implementing) feel free to drop me a message!
