About Edward Sharbaugh

My experiences over the past 34 years have been in organizing and implementing activity programs, teaching health and wellness, team and lifetime sports, and aquatics. I was responsible for developing, scheduling, staffing, and managing programs. I plan budgets and keep accounting records, and ensuring safe environments through prudence and compliance of state and local regulations. I have personal skills that allow me to move beyond the managerial level of leadership to the visionary level. I believe it is essential to create a positive work culture in order to maintain a high level of productivity and success in carrying out an organizations mission. I am a creative thinker and problem solver who is not afraid to take risks-yet I am very pragmatic and practical in my ultimate decision making. I have strong personal relationships with the people with whom I work established through teamwork and a shared ownership of a common vision. I have always had a great rapport people of all ages as well as a special knack for working with the special needs population. I have excellent communication skills supported by a strong proficiency in technology.
