Edward “Ted” Johnson, a former partner in two global law firms (Paul Hastings and Orrick), from his firm ZelusTech provides legal, outside general counsel, and strategic advice to companies including Liquid-Markets-Solutions (ultra low-latency and precision time messaging technology with financial services industry and other applications), Aerkomm Inc.(an asset-light satellite communication technology company with proprietary antennas and modems), Tailor (tailored ERP solutions), Hairu Entertainment (film and other entertainment productions) and others. Ted has been an Executive Producer of a film that opened the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and is involved in other film and entertainment projects. Ted has experience serving on a board of directors, as a corporate auditor, and as a corporate secretary. Ted teaches and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Keio University Law School, Tokyo University Law Faculty, Hitotsubashi University, Temple Law School Japan and Lakeland University Japan (International Commercial Transactions, Gaming Law, Entertainment Law, IP Licensing and Business Law) and has had appointments as a Visiting Scholar in the East Asian Legal Studies program at Harvard Law School and as a Fulbright Scholar at Tokyo University. With partners, Ted operates a performance hall in Tokyo and vacation real estate properties in the U.S.
