I have over 45 years experience in all underground mining, ventilation, project engineering, project management, scheduling, supervision, engineering management, staff development, proposal and report writing, peer review, and client / consultant interface. My skills include excellent communication, leadership, organizational, mentoring and coaching, and valuable safety contributions. I am proficient in MS Office programs, MS Projects, and subsurface ventilation network modeling. Industrial PM responsibilities include change-out of a production hoist clutch and spider gear, installation and commissioning of underground structures, fabricated steel installation, contractor coordination and oversight, chilled water system maintenance, and primary underground fan installation and repairs. Engineering PM responsibilities include scoping level, prefeasibility, and feasibility study projects, design optimization, drawing management, and writing standard operating procedures, ensuring technical work was performed in compliance with industry codes and standards, regulations, quality assurance procedures, schedules, and budget. As an Engineering Manager my responsibilities included supervising, directing, coordinating, and mentoring of technical staff. I have been accountable for planning and scheduling personnel resources, maintaining staffing levels, overseeing staff development, staff training, safety, and annual performance reviews.
