Background

About Edward Vohnout

B.S Mechanical Engineering graduate with a passion for the environment, sustainable engineering, renewable energy, and green construction methods. Across my schooling and industrial internship, I have had the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge in the fields of engineering, design, production, sustainability, and project management, as well as hone my skills in testing, fabrication, and manufacturing. I have worked on numerous exciting projects, both as an individual and as part of a group, throughout my time at CSU Chico. Throughout my own personal time, I have continually sought to educate myself on the state of the environment around me and the steps I can take to ensure that future generations are able to experience its beauty as I have. As such, I’m seeking an opportunity to combine these two lifelong passions – environmental stewardship and engineering. If I’m not diligently applying myself to engineering work, you’re likely to find me enjoying the beauty of our state & national parks, tinkering on my home stereo, browsing the aisles at my local record store, or raising lizards in my home. I pride myself on my ability to work hard and continually strive to learn more about the world around me, and I look forward to continuing to put my skills to good use in the future.
