Edwin A."Ed" Anderson practices at Miller & Associates, P.C. in Knoxville, Tennessee in the area of Social Security disability benefits.l claims and appeals. He is admitted to the State and Federal Courts of Tennessee and California, the United States Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Anderson earned a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA and a J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law where he was elected as Marshal and then elected Justice of the Joseph Story Chapter. He remains a dues-paying member of the Chicago Alumni Chapter. He received the Outstanding Chapter Justice Award for 1994-1995 and was named a Life Member of Story Chapter in 2009. He served as the fraternity's International Field Representative during 1995-1997, visiting more than 60 law school chapters in the United States and Canada. He has served as Alumni Advisor to the Sanford Chapter at the University of Tennessee College of Law and presently serves as an alumni advisor for the Watson, Jr. Chapter at Lincoln Memorial University's Duncan School of Law. He has served as the reactivating Clerk, the Vice-Justice, and the Justice of the Knoxville Alumni Chapter. He is currently a member of the Chicago, Knoxville, and Nashville Alumni Chapters and was named the Outstanding Alumni Chapter Marshal for 2017-2018. The Knoxville Alumni Chapter received its fourth consecutive Outstanding Alumni Chapter Award that same year and now holds five Outstanding Chapter awards. On August 23, 2018, International Justice Jason M."Jay" Ross appointed Mr. Anderson to serve as District Justice of District XXIV, which includes all of the Commonwealth of Virginia except the Washington D.C. area and includes chapters at the University of Richmond School of Law, the University of Virginia School of Law, Washington & Lee University School of Law, Appalachian Law School, Regent University School of Law, and the College of William & Mary.
