Experienced Technical Project Lead with a history of working in the consumer goods industry. Strong technical purchasing professional skilled in Strategic Sourcing, Management, Process Improvement, and team leading. Ability to lead cross functional teams, bringing in new business to the machine shop while finding solutions to complex machining topics. New responsibilities include Group Manager of the Apprenticeship Program, a 100 year old training program for machinists, electricians, and precision assembly technicians. Additional responsibility as Group Manager of the Co-operative program reintroduction to P&G, where high school students work in their field of study during the school year - earning a paycheck, learning hard skills in their trade, and the skills required to work for one of the largest and finest companies in the world. Lastly, a new role as Group Manager of Metrology, which includes EMS, the department that ensures machined part quality, and our offline gaging technicians who measure components of production and prototype finished Gillette products. All of these roles and responsibilities enable us to deliver the best shave in the world by delivering day to day business, developing the next generation of employees being THE place to be, and maintaining the quality products the Gillette brand is known for.
