About Edwin Nelson

Edwin brings a wealth of experience to the legal realm with a focus on estate planning. Over the years, he has provided advice on matters related to disputed estates, family provision claims, complex wills, testamentary trusts, powers of attorney, enduring guardianships, probates, letters of administration and capacity disputes. His expertise also extends to include areas such as the preparation of loan documents, employment contracts, private mortgages, family trusts, deeds of family arrangement, family law disputes and debt recovery. Edwin also significant experience with commercial and corporate litigation – including representing clients before the High Court of Australia on several occasions. He was also admitted as a Notary Public in late 2024. Outside of the law, Edwin has some experience within the credit repair industry. He has also worked as political consultant and staffer for various politicians. He is a director and co-founder of The Conservative Institute.
