About Edwin van der Wolde

I am an optimist, spontaneous, curious and flexible. I am a creative and innovative thinker who easily connects topics and disciplines and is looking for new solutions. It is my opinion that a manager should be able to ''understand'' every aspect of the total company process in such a way that you can talk to anyone about everything on a professional level. I am a born leader and prefer to take charge. I am very strict in business and will not avoid confrontation if necessary. But on the other hand I am also very involved and devoted to my personnel in order to get the best out of them and stimulate their talents. I help others to achieve their goals. I think a good ''working climate'' amongst colleagues is very important for a company. In business I make the necessary choices to reach the defined goals as fast as possible. I take the lead, but also take responsibility. Sometimes, when things don't go fast enough, I can get impatient. The last 25 years I have build up a lot of experience in different branches, such as Do-It-Yourself market, consumer electronics market, white goods and the supermarkets. I also have a lot of experience and knowledge of international markets in different countries which I can apply.
