About Eemaan Abrar

Hi there! I'm Eemaan, a fourth year student at Ivey Business School. Throughout university, I’ve gained an interest towards marketing, technology, and consulting roles. I am energized through problem-solving, working with others in a collaborative environment, and by being creative. With experiences in product management and marketing, I bring a unique set of experiences and skills to the table. My professional journey has been defined by opportunities to innovate and create impact. As a Product Management Intern at Chick-fil-A Corporate, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and drive product adoption. Prior to this, I was part of Royal Bank of Canada’s Design Thinking Program, where I created a grocery expiration date tracking prototype that aimed at reducing food waste. These experiences honed my skills in analyzing data, conducting market research, and communicating with others. Outside of work, I am passionate about creating an inclusive space for underrepresented groups. This is portrayed in my involvement in Women in Technology Society as the Vice President of Events and Educationals. In this role, I lead initiatives that help female professionals empower others to aspire to work in related fields. Moreover, my participation in International Student Support, allowed me to advocate for international students and other BIPOC groups on campus in order to foster a more inclusive and diverse space.
