About Eeshani Thomas

I am currently in my last year at Lewis & Clark College majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Hispanic Studies. In July of 2023, I returned from my semester studying abroad in Valparaiso, Chile, with a higher proficiency in Spanish, a better understanding of life outside the US, and excitement to finish out my schooling back home. I am very interested in equity work, and am currently the Chair of the Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Committee on campus. In this position, I manage our committee budget, work directly with administrators to improve school policies, lead two weekly committee meetings, and facilitate the management of the committee's two grant programs. I also am a member of the collegiate Debate Team, frequently traveling across the country to represent my school in competition. This Winter I am honored to have been selected to be one of three team members representing our school in participation of the World Universities Debating Championship in Vietnam. After completing my Bachelors degree, I hope to take two years off from studying so I can work before heading into Law School to continue my passion for social justice. Outside of school, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, spending time with loved ones, and listening to informative podcasts or audio books.
