About Eeva Pursula

As a little girl, I used to think I would become a real scientist. When I grew up, I married one and figured that's enough for one family. Curiosity, questioning, and an open mind for new challenges remained. A need to know why and a need to learn more. Combine that with a womans way of complicated thinking, and the fascination to storytelling. Exploring how things work - until they break - is now my profession. I test software, do customer support, write user manuals, and train and consult customers on how to use the product. I also have some experience on how to define and design a web service to fill the needs of a customer. Testing is not just testing; it's a way of thinking and asking. It's planning, checking, evaluating, and reporting. It's about risk management and finding new points of view. And other tasks may help in finding relevant points of view. My former career also gave me experience in analytic thinking and problem solving, finding information, and ways to use it.
