About Efdal Ekerbicer

With over 2 Decades of LEAN experience I have supported many organisations in their LEAN journey. Focusing on reducing waste, building productivity, and applying continuous improvement strategies through the application of LEAN principles. My approach and deep understanding of LEAN comes from many years of experience with Toyota Australia, who are a proven leading global adopter of LEAN principles. Commencing as a team member and rapidly progressing my career by gaining accreditation as a Toyota Production Systems (TPS) Trainer I supported many areas of the business, from engine plant through to final assembly. This allowed me the opportunity to build solid knowledge and expertise in applying LEAN principles across the organisation. After some time, I was promoted to Production/Quality Manager where I led a team of three supervisors, seven team leaders and 70 quality inspectors. Key competencies are problem solving using root cause analysis application, implementation/development of KPI visualisation boards, 5's, development and implementation of process engineering, continuous improvement using Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) and collaboration across the organisation to include the leadership team, key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
