I am a Workforce Development and Career Counseling professional with over 4 years of experience in the public employment service sector, specializing in job matching, career guidance, recruitment, and capacity building. As a Job Center Manager and Project Manager, I have designed, managed, and executed initiatives that equip young people with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s labor market. Key Achievements-Trained youths in employability and soft skills, improving their workplace readiness-Led the flagship project to train young people (18–35 years) in employability skills across Edo State-Played a key role in setting up multiple job centers, ensuring operational efficiency and accessibility for job seekers-Successfully matched job seekers with employers through tailored recruitment processes, improving retention and reducing mismatches-Spearheaded programs on internships, apprenticeships, train-to-hire, and ICT/vocational training, driving sustainable job creation-Collaborated with development partners such as GIZ (SKYE), IOM, government ministries, and private sector employers, expanding opportunities for skills development and workforce integration. Beyond my role in the public employment service, I am the Founder of Mindal Network, a youth-focused initiative that empowers individuals to live intentionally through capacity development, mentorship, and leadership training. Through Mindal Network’s leadership arm — Mindal Forge — we shape strong leaders and provide young people with the tools and community they need to grow personally and professionally.
