About Efren Munoz

I am a Petroleum Engineer, with experience and expertise in well testing in general. I like a position with emphasis in the practical aspects of Reservoir Engineering like RTA, PTA, PVT sampling and analysis, material balance and reserves evaluation. I have been involved in production engineering and optimization projects with particular emphasis in integrated production modeling. I like mentoring and teaching and have done so throughout all my professional career. During my last 15 years I have been working in tight gas and oil reservoirs for 3 of them, and 12 years in shale reservoirs. I have expertise and experience in unconventional analysis including: RTA and PTA, establishing specific analysis workflows, forecasting methodologies and preparation of Type Curves for different fluid types. With special emphasis in Eagle Ford, although I have been in collaboration efforts in Vaca Muerta, Bakken, Barnett and Permian. My expertise also covers different DCA methods for unconventional, Reserves evaluation and booking.
