About Egbe Etowa

I am a researcher with over ten years of experience working at the intersection of community development, public health, and policy. My career began in Nigeria, where I taught agricultural economics at the university level and worked on rural development and food systems research. Since moving to Canada, my focus has shifted to public health, where I use quantitative methods—primarily in SPSS, Stata and Python—to examine the social and structural factors that shape health outcomes for immigrant, racialized, and low-income communities. I work closely with nonprofit organizations and public health partners to generate evidence that supports practical, equity-focused solutions.
