Education-Graduated with an Honors Master's Degree in Marine Engineering (Hydrodynamics) from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT)-Pursued a PhD in Marine Hydrodynamics from IMT-NTNU-Master's thesis focused on seakeeping analysis and control system design, specifically targeting the motion control of a crew transfer vessel (CTV) to ensure the safe transfer of crews to offshore wind turbines-PhD thesis focused on optimal ship design for operating in real sea states. Professional Experiences- Previously worked with several ship design firms, contributing to the creation of design booklets, structural drawings, and economic analyses of ship designs- Currently employed as a Senior Propulsion Engineer at Kumera Marine (Hjelset), designing propellers and offering comprehensive propulsion solutions as part of a dynamic team. Skills & Contributions-Specializes in Marine Hydrodynamics, with a focus on optimizing ship designs for real sea state operations to make shipping greener-Made contributions to various reputable publications on topics like ship design, marine hydrodynamics, optimization, and control system design-Serves as a peer reviewer for the journals of Marine Science and Technology (2018-), Ocean Engineering (2020-), and China Ocean Engineering (2023-).
