About Ehtesham Ansari

Pursued MBBS from SK Medical College Muzaffarpur and received a gold medal in Anatomy. Completed Master's degree in Pediatrics from VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital New Delhi. Conducted research on childhood pneumonia which was published. Worked as a senior resident at the same institution for 3 years after completing Master's. Actively participated in various academic and clinical activities during this period, including taking classes for UG's and PG's, ward rounds, seminars, audits, interward, etc. Was part of a special team of the Government of India deputed to supervise the Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) epidemic in Muzaffarpur Bihar in June 2019. Joined CARE, an international NGO working in liaisoning with the Department of Health, Government of Bihar, India after completion of senior residency. Supervised the AES project and gave training on AES management and prevention to medical officers of PHC/CHC/SDH/Sadar hospitals of the Government of Bihar (GoB). Trainer in ventilation workshops organized by CARE in liaison with GoB to improve the quality of PICU. Did supportive supervision of all 35 SNCUs of GoB to improve the quality of neonatal care. Currently working as a specialist medical officer in the Government of Bihar. Taking care of all Pediatrics and Neonatal OPDs, Daycare, wards, and NICU/PICU at Subdivisional Hospital Sikrahan (Dhaka), East Champaran Bihar.
