I represent prominent international and domestic clients in a variety of industries, and specilize in highly complex commercial litigation cases. I act on behalf of international corporation such as Google, SMET, Schindler, Plus500 and Marsh, as well as Israeli mega companies such as Ashdod Port, Ponevezh Yeshiva, and more. I also have unique expertise in representing commercial banks, investment banks, hedge funds, financial institutions, insurance companies, export credit agencies, mezzanine funds, credit card companies and corporates in relation to the full spectrum of financial products. In this scope I represent a few of Israel's major banks (Bank Hapoalim, Discount Bank, Bank Mizrahi-Tefahot, Union Bank of Israel), as well as prominent investment fund such as Pegasus. I advise clients on how to advertise and promote their complex investment products within the constraints of local and foreign regulations so as not to risk allegations of mis-selling of financial and investment products. My expertise includes claims arising from futures, options, swaps, hedging and other financial derivatives, and embezzlement. In my restructuring, insolvency and workouts practice, I was involved in some of the largest insolvency cases in Israel, advising on one of the very first insolvency cases under section 350 of Israel’s Companies Act, the local equivalent to the US Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Code. I am also often appointed by the courts to act as arbitrator or mediator. For a number of years I coordinated a seminar entitled “The Art of Litigation” at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, on the practicalities and strategies of managing cases that focus firmly on the client’s interests. I am an active member of the Israel Bar Association, lecture on Administrative Law and teach litigation practice, including the drafting of pleadings and advocacy skills within the framework of the Bar’s advanced legal studies program for qualified lawyers.
