Professional Synopsis A linguistics graduate from Stony Brook University in 1997, I commenced my career at Overseas Courier Service Co, Ltd.(OCS) in New York. Transitioning through roles in procurement, logistics, and business planning, I returned to Japan in 2004 to embark on a new trajectory. Joining Koike Medical Co, Ltd, I managed procurement of medical equipments and medical gases, liasing with international partners across the US, Germany, the Netherlands, and Iceland. Subsequently, I ventured into a venture enterprise in 2005 before spearheading retail and wholesale operations for imported goods at Avenue D Co, Ltd. There, I played a pivotal role in launching proprietary brands and products. Driven by a global outlook, I transitioned to Nikon Vision Co, Ltd, a Nikon Corporation subsidiary, in 2007. Progressing from overseas sales to product planning, I oversaw the development of various optical products catering to diverse consumer needs. My tenure at Nikon included a secondment to Nikon Europe B.V. from June 2015 to December 2020, where I led sales operations across European territories. Returning to Nikon Vision in 2021, I assumed leadership roles in the marketing department before transitioning to Koki Holdings Co, Ltd. in November 2021. As a section chief, I provided strategic support to overseas Strategic Business Units. From December 2022, I served as Senior Director/Sales at Koki Holding Europe GmbH in Germany, assuming the role of Head of Strategic Planning from January 2024, focusing on structural reforms and business growth within the European framework.
