About Eiji Lin

Hello, I'm currently working at AMD PFE Validation Team, mainly working on lab management, procurement, automation and tool's ease of use improvement to increase the efficiency and production for the team. I would say it's definitely off from the title that I have, but many of the items and tools that I worked on have significantly improved the team's productivity by lowering the chance of mistakes, ease of access and reducing the time for the repeated work. By utilizing the internal and public tools that's out there that I can use, I would find many inefficient location within the team and always provide solution on how this can be improved. The key is to utilize public tool, which allows flexibility to not just rely on company's tool and able to be implemented outside of the company. But this skill also have to be worked with high communication skill to consistently increase the range of information gathering and human connections to further increase the efficiency of research.Compare to the other engineers within my team, detailed technical knowledge and skill might be lower than the others; However, I do have knowledge to quickly understand and adapt to the new items that is given, and with my range of macro-skill and high efficiency generalist that can automate and improve the tools that people use, I have boosted the efficiency and productivity of our team.
