About Eileen Blake

Many years ago, I was first introduced to the world of Bits and Bytes. Throughout my career, I have utilized my programming skills to produce business solutions to increase productivity and efficiency. During the early years of computers in the workplace, I developed software to calculate the energy efficiency of homes for a government certification program. I have also used Autocad API's to create automated production drawings based on client contracts, increasing accuracy in the manufacturing process. I have developed websites for small local businesses, meeting their need to enter the digital world with the comfort and reliability of my professionalism. Some of my greatest development achievements have been in Database and Mobile Development. I developed multiple programs for a multi-user server system where B2B Sales and Inventory management were customized to the client’s needs. Some of these programs are still in place today. I have engaged my developer skills to produce solutions within a Mongoose environment ERP system (Syteline) to provide customized extensions for business procedures. In the Mobile world, I developed a B2C App for a local BIA with highly interactive features and social media integration. As the entrepreneur of Purple Unicorn Technology, a digital design studio, I passionately develop Mobile iPhone Apps, Websites and Digital sign graphics in my spare time. Along the pathway of software development, I discovered that sharing my knowledge with others and helping them resolve technical issues with software or hardware has been very rewarding. As well as serving as IT support for fellow staff, I have facilitated educational offerings of MS office, Web Design and INFOR Syteline ERP. As an Online Technical Practitioner, I provided technical support for on-line learners and Literacy Practitioners in a distance education environment. I am a dedicated professional with 20+ years experience in development of software, database, web and mobile solutions. I have genuine passion for problem solving through technology and a special interest in the ground up creation of enterprise driven solutions. I am a dynamic personality with intrinsic leadership skills in collaboration environments.
