CB1,2-RPh: As a clinical cannabis pharmacist, I see the need for my opioid dependent patients to have a better understanding of why their pain is so bad and why their medications seemed to no longer be working. By educating and guiding them through how the nociceptive system works, how chronic pain conditions develop and when and how to use different prescription, over the counter or natural remedies, they are often times able to lower or even discontinue their opioid medications. By adding fine tuned cannabis medicine, we can usually provide even greater pain relief, better sleep, less anxiety and an overall better quality of life for most patients. I work closely with the patient guiding them in product selection, dosage titration, monitoring for any side effects and drug interactions. Bio-Touch Dove Mountain: BIO-TOUCH is a simple hands-on healing touch technique that appears to enhance the body's natural healing abilities. Research documents the benefits of BIO-TOUCH on pain, stress and stress-related conditions, high blood pressure, immune function and over-all quality of life. Service from Bio-Touch Dove Mountain include 1-2 hour workshops which focus on a specific health condition. Workbooks are given to participants with this workshop and are designed with only 3 or 4 basic sets of points needed to address a specific condition. In our practitioner training course we review the entire Bio-Touch manual, teach you how to locate the Bio-Touch points and how to apply them to sets within a Bio-Touch session. You will be effective immediately and able to confidently use the technique on your family and friends or apply it to your current healing practice upon completion. All programs include 1-8 continuing education credits for Nurses, Doulas and Massage Therapists. By combining Bio-Touch Healing with cannabis medicine, I have found my pain patients connect with their bodies again, achieve better overall pain relief and a sense of control over their pain and lives again.*Coming Soon: Medication Therapy Management services where I provide more education on the patients specific disease state(s), review their medications ensuring that they are taken correctly, screen for any side effects, and educate them on how to manage them. This medication therapy review involves maintaining a personal medication record, creating a medication-related action plan, intervention and or referrals, and documentation and follow-up.
