About Eileen Gillespie

As a nurse and healthcare executive, I have provided leadership across all clinical and support departments to improve collaboration and operational efficiency. In addition, I have successfully partnered with medical staff to develop and implement new service lines including: Cardiac, Neuroscience, and Orthopedic Centers of Excellence. I have served as executive advisor for clinical and service integration across multiple sites of care for medium and large integrated delivery systems. As a consultant, I specialize in operations improvement, case management and assisting organizations prepare to function successfully in an Accountable Care environment. I have over twenty years of healthcare executive and consulting experience in community and academic medical centers across the United States. I have successfully led large scale redesign initiatives in the areas of Surgical Services, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Emergency Department, Patient Safety and Quality, and Women's Services. These projects resulted in sustained increases in patient, physician, and employee satisfaction as well as increases in volume and profitability. I have worked with executives, physicians, and leadership across all hospital departments to ensure stakeholder alignment with strategic and operational priorities and has effectively partnered with clinical, technical, and financial leadership to develop high performing work teams. In addition,I have assisted organizations in developing their vision, strategic and operational plans as well as outcome metrics to track performance and ensure that the results are sustained.
