A dear friend wrote this for me one day when we were discussing a need to update my bio while at Landor. And I love it. Eileen Pieczonka Associate Director of Print and Resource Services – Cincinnati “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.” ~William Arthur Ward The word, services, in Eileen Pieczonka’s job title implies the range of responsibilities of her work at Landor. She’s involved in the concept development, feasibility and production of a variety of materials created for a product launch, corporate/brand identity, Landor and client events. That means that it’s her responsibility to transform Landor designers and clients’ often vague intentions into workable concepts that eventually become – sometimes at very short notice – customized, specialized, three-dimensional reality. The job includes not only print and digital media (including brand identity guidelines) and premium packaging, but also supplemental promotional products i.e, flash drives). Began her career as a graphic designer after starting a family, came to Landor as senior graphic designer on the “Tide team” 17 years ago. Curiosity and necessity led the way to where she is today. Eileen’s work requires an equally specialized creativity – one well grounded in real-world packaging and print experience. She joined Landor Cincinnati in 1997 as a senior designer but, prior to that, worked in the Marketing Communications department at Campbell Hausfeld, designing packing and print materials for their paint sprayer and washer divisions. Before then, she was a graphic designer with Marsh, Inc. Eileen has been referred to as a kind of “fairy godmother” to our designers. In fairy tales, a fairy godmother (French: fée marraine) is a fairy with magical powers who acts as a mentor or parent to someone, in the role that an actual godparent was expected to play in many societies. She strives to bring what seem to be impossible ideas come to fruition. Thanks Kevin
