About Eimear Fitzpatrick

I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland but my family come from Inis Mór off the West Coast of Galway, which remains to be a strong part of my identity. I am very proud to be a Gaelgeoir and to have been raised through the Irish language, and continue to have a lot of love and passion for our country's language, culture, and history.Since joining the Dublin Lacrosse Club in 2017, lacrosse has been a very big part of my life in many ways. The sport has provided me with learning the importance of teamwork, patience, and persistence. I have had the privilege of travelling the world with my amazing teammates and meeting so many great people in the lacrosse community along the way. I have also had the honour of representing Ireland on numerous occasions since 2019 which is something I am very proud of. I look forward every day to the future opportunities that lacrosse will provide me with and am very grateful to be part of not only Ireland Lacrosse but of the wider, worldwide lacrosse community. I enjoy being involved and volunteering in various organisational committees. I am currently on the committee for the Dublin Lacrosse Club in my role as Team Manager, I am the League Co-Ordinator for the Women's Game League for Ireland Lacrosse, and I am part of the Social Committee in Primark's Arthur Ryan House.This November, I will graduate with a First Class Honours in my Bachelor of Honours Degree in Business Management which I gad been undergoing in TU Dublin whilst working full-time in my role as Labour Planning Administrator in Primark, and previously as School Secretary in Scoil Chaitlín Maude. I am looking forward to graduating with my Honours Degree and seeing the result of my hard work.
